Item description
Locus Solus coffee table by Gae Aulenti for Poltronova, 1964. The Locus Solus series is named after the title of one of Raymond Roussel's most famous books. The coffee table features a curved tubular steel structure and a smoked glass top. Gae Aulenti is considered one of the best architects of her generation. Poltronova, founded in 1957 in Agliana, has contributed to the spread of design in the homes of Italians and to the creation of objects still on display at MoMA in New York, thanks to collaborations with the greatest Italian architects. This coffee table is a piece of Italian design history and is ideal for those who want to give modernity, despite its age, and originality to their spaces.
