Provençal Louis Philippe solid walnut sideboard, mid-19th century (1850-60). French sideboard called "capuchin". The front is punctuated by three doors with adjustable shelves inside using a "ladder" system. The under-top band features three drawers at the doors below. The top turns out to be in the Provençal tradition of solid walnut and the feet are "padded". Restored by traditional satin-wax method. Complete with certificate of authenticity.
