Pair of Apollo swivel armchairs by Patrick Norguet for Artifort. Patrick Norguet was born in 1969 in Tours and trained at the Ecole Supérieure du Design Industriel in Paris. After graduating he began by designing window displays for fashion houses such as Louis Vuitton and stands for Renault; experiences that launched him on the international scene in the field of interior design and furniture. In 1999, he founded his own studio in Paris. Norguet perfectly illustrates the definition of a designer; he is at the center of a collective and innovative approach to design and stands as one of the protagonists of a project. Artis (art) and Fortis (strength) is what the world-renowned Artifort brand stands for. Timeless design that lasts, Artifort has been producing distinctive, comfortable and functional furniture since 1890. The foundations of Artifort were laid by classic icons created by designers such as Kho Liang Ie, Pierre Paulin, and Geoffrey D. Harcourt RDI.
