Item description
Superb rosewood sideboard by Vittorio Dassi, made in Italy in the 1950s. Rosewood structure with 2 four doors compartments and 1 single central compartment with 4 maple drawers. Furniture finely worked and built with long curved lines, carved and painted in green on the openings and the frame under the floor; the top of the cabinet and the riser are in decorated green glass. Piece attributed to the above designer. It has no hallmark or proof of authenticity, but is documented in design history. The Sideboard is in excellent condition, it is solid and functional, it has insignificant signs of wear. The Sideboard has no flaws, except for the stains on the bottom inside (see photos).
