Coat rack with mirror by Dřevokov, 1950s
SILVER Seller in Praha, Czechia
Entrance coat rack with mirror by Dřevokov (formerly Czechoslovakia), 1950s. Made of plywood, wood, leatherette and metal. It can be mounted on the wall or rest loosely on the floor. This is a characteristic example of Czechoslovak furniture design related to the so-called "Brussels period/style"; this began with the huge success of the Czechoslovak pavilion at the famous Brussels Expo in 1958. Good original condition with signs of time and use.
