"Morphos" decorative wall mirror by Eugenio Carmi for Acerbis, 1980s. It is part of a series that perfectly represents Carmi's artistic approach, with geometric shapes linked with bright colours. This style is also very close to that of the Memphis Group, of which Ettore Sottsass, among others, was a member. Set in a black lacquered wooden frame, the mirror has two eyelets on the back for hanging. The only signs of time are to be found on the frame itself, which can easily be retouched or even replaced, for example with a brushed aluminium one.
