Six Onda chairs by Giovanni Offredi for Saporiti Italia, 1970s. Cantilever frame designed in 1969 by the great designer Giovanni Offredi, (1927-2007). Seats upholstered in polyurethane foam, covered in beige/cream textured fabric, with front buttons, on cantilevered aluminium legs in chrome finish. Protective feet in black plastic. Production 1970 by Saporiti Italia - Besnate, Varese. These designer chairs are over 50 years old and given their age are in excellent condition. Minimal signs of use, high seating comfort. Some chairs are missing buttons on the seat and some rubber stoppers. The continuous seat shell of the chairs is still very good. Small spots of slight discolouration of the yarn. The chrome plating is ok and shiny. We have six for sale, all in the same state of preservation, although we have only photographed four in the picture.
