Item description

Restoration sofa in mahogany. Genoa second quarter of the 19th century. Carvings portraying leafy and phytomorphic elements, including the podded rosette placed on the top of the backrest and the voluminous anthemas of the armrests; breadsticked parts. A mahogany feather veneer acts as a backdrop to the anthems. Backrest, armrests and seat padded and covered with brocade fabric. Internal structure in poplar.
