Pair of cognac-coloured armchairs, in excellent condition. Designer: Afra e Tobia Scarpa Collection: B&B Italia Year: 1966 The Coronado project represents one of the cornerstones of the research conducted by Afra and Tobia Scarpa. It was born from the proposal to combine the iron frame with the revolutionary technology of cold foamed polyurethane in moulds, introduced by B&B Italia in the furniture sector. Its comfort is guaranteed by the springing that is achieved thanks to the presence of harmonic steel strips inserted in the structure of the backrest.
