Item description

Wooden horse sculpture from India, late 19th century - early 20th century. Hand carved and painted from a single teak wood log. Original varnish. Completely solid. Item is very heavy (7.5 kg) and stands on its own because it is very stable. It has wonderful patina of time and some slight lack of paint that has not been intentionally repainted, just to keep intact its originality and wear resulting from use.
