Item description
Wonderful and elegant Italian design dining suite produced in the 1950s, consisting of the dining table with six chairs. The dining table has a unique sculpted design, very elegant and charming, featuring a geometrically shaped frame made of lacquered ebonized wood, with side edges finished with superb cane ('grissinati') details, and its feet have been restored as they were originally, with a synthetic parchment foil. The table top is a transparent glass framed by a mirrored glass, and on each short side there are 2 hidden wooden bars that can be pulled out, ready to accommodate 2 extension leaves, each 50 cm long. In this way the table can reach a total length of 280 cm instead of 180 cm. The Chairs, a set of six, have elegant lines and are finished in ebonized lacquered wood like the table, with pony faux leather seats with leopard fur texture. All their upholstery has also been renewed. Both items are in excellent condition as the pictures show, they have been fully restored recently and are now ready for use.
