Very rare technical desk lam designed by Wim Rietveld (Dutch, 1924–1985) for Gispen, The Netherlands, c. 1960 enameled steel and aluminum, spun aluminum, chrome-plated steel.Dark grey aluminum shade with a white aluminum diffuser which is adjustable. Heavy enameled steel frame bolted together with metal bolts end chrome-plated blocks. Enameled aluminum, aluminum, enameled steel, chrome plated steel, plastic. Conditions good all original condition, consistent with age and use. No dints in shade. Perfectly functioning.
