Hamlet Dalla Costa (1929 -) is an Italian artist best known for his flat, figurative paintings and silkscreens of women that directly reference art history. Born in 1929 in Milan, Italy, Costa's Compositions Absorb and Translate The Aesthetic Styles of Contemporary and Modern Artists Such As Tom Wesselmann, Alex Katz, and Gustav Klimt. His Oeuvre is prolific, although his subjects are Almost Entirely devoted to the repressed of the female form.
