Victorian desk in maple and walnut, 19th century
Bean-shaped writing desk with a typical bean-shaped top, supported by a pair of turned legs resting on two wavy feet each and joined by a crosspiece, all carved in walnut, the top is veneered in thick walnut root with Moroccan inserts. On the top rests a writing desk with an inclined surface also covered in Moroccan, which can be opened and on the back a compartment for pens and letters; inside the flap there is a compartment veneered in maple root with a mirror.
