Item description

Ancient Italian dresser of the end of the 18th century. Louis XVI period furniture richly inlaid in various precious essences including walnut, rosewood, maple, boxwood and fruit wood with scenes of neoclassical taste placed on the sides and on the two larger front drawers (see photo). High quality and elegant chest of drawers with three drawers (two plus one) and marble top. Furniture adorned with chiseled brass vents and handles (see photo) of great pleasure. Top drawer handles replaced during the 20th century. Furniture that has undergone some conservative restoration over time (see photo). Structurally sound, it has small lack of wooden decoration and some signs of old restorations. In beautiful patina, to be restored.
