‘676 Radar’ table/floor lamp by Elio Martinelli for Martinelli Luce, Italy 1970s.
Elio Martinelli stands out for his rigorous and simple designs, obtaining clean and neat forms. Nature will be a pillar in his creative process, linked to industrial design. The Radar lamp consists of a cone-shaped base and a large white metal shade with a black handle on top. A special feature of the lamp is the adjustable shade, which is not only rotatable, but can also be adjusted from a horizontal to a vertical position (and many positions in between).
