Description: Ancient sculpture in glossy bronze depicting bust of girl signed "Houdon" resting on a golden bronze base. The bust represents a young girl with a serene and slightly smiling expression. The face is turned slightly to the right suggesting a sense of sweetness and childhood pontaneity. The base is particularly elaborated richly chiseled with golden motifs in the shape of curls and contrasting cartouches with the dark bronze of the bust. On the back there is the signature of the artist "Houdon" and the streets where there were the foundries. Conditions: Excellent condition. Origin: France 19th century. Measures: 25x25 H50cm.
