An elegant centerpiece bowl designed in 1992 by celebrated Italian designers Afra & Tobia Scarpa for the renowned Milanese silversmith San Lorenzo. Crafted from solid .999 fine silver – the purest grade of silver – this sculptural piece features a perfectly smooth, seamless surface that subtly distorts reflections and highlights the natural beauty of silver.
This model was part of a design initiative that sought to reinterpret traditional silver forms with modernist clarity and is documented as part of the 1995 Victoria & Albert Museum exhibition on contemporary silver design.
