Item description

These fascinating Italian bedside tables, dating back to the mid-twentieth century (about 1940s-50s), are an excellent expression of the Venetian decorative style with baroque influences. Their peculiarity lies in the elegant contrast created by the use of the precious walnut root for the central body and the polished black lacquered wood finishes for the base, curved legs and upper edges. The Italian walnut root and black lacquer highlight the artisan skill of the time, giving a luxurious and lasting aspect.
