Description: Ancient French Empire console belonging to the Consulate period of the early nineteenth century. The structure has a rigid rectangular structure covered entirely in mahogany with poplar interiors and a black Belgian marble top. The front is characterized by two pilasters ending with bronze sphinx heads. The feet of the pilasters which are always made of bronze rest on a rectangular base which acts as a connecting element. Marble top coeval with the same. Conditions: Excellent condition. Provenance: France, early 19th century. Measurements: 75x40 H83cm. Document: Certificate of Authenticity.
