Pair of vases made in Czechoslovakia (displaced headquarters) under the Barovier and Toso B.A.G brands, dating back to the 1980s. They are blown glass artefacts worked with the casing technique, which involves the immersion of a glass already in process in a crucible containing glass of different colours, thus creating a uniform and precious coating. The design is characterized by its slender and sinuous shape, with a circular base in intense yellow glass and body in milky white glass, while the interior is colored in a warm yellow which enhances its brightness. The color combination and workmanship give the pieces an elegant and at the same time decisive appearance, typical of the artistic production of the 1980s. With original label. The Barovier dynasty was born in Murano in 1295 and in 1942 it became Barovier & Toso, one of the most prestigious glassworks on the island. Under the leadership of Ercole Barovier (1889–1974) the company combines tradition and innovation: from Art Nouveau chandeliers to modernist creations such as the Pezzato, the Barbarico and the Oriente. Even today, the family maintains control and the brand is a symbol of the excellence of Murano glass.
