Elegant Coronado model sofa, designed by Afra and Tobia Scarpa for C&B Italia (manufacturer's label present).
Internal steel structure, polyurethane foam padding and soft ivory leather covering. The design, characterized by generous shapes and capitonnè cushions, combines comfort and architectural lines typical of Scarpa's work.
The Coronado model represents one of the icons of Italian design of the 1960s, the first example of the use of structural foam technology in upholstered furniture.
In good vintage condition, with minor signs of use due to age and normal maintenance.
