Danish armchair model FD118 by Grete Jalk for France & Søn, teak structure and cushions reupholstered in gray melange wool.
Refined Danish armchair model FD118 designed by Grete Jalk for France & Søn in the 1960s. Made of solid teak, it features a backrest with two wide and slightly inclined slats, which defines the elegance and comfort typical of mid-century Danish design.
The structure retains the original France & Søn branding. The cushions have been reupholstered in gray melange wool, while the support fabric of the seat cushion shows some stains due to age.
An authentic icon of Danish modernism, appreciated for its sober lines and quality craftsmanship.
Good condition. It may show some signs of aging. Please pay attention to the photographs.
