Rare modular bookcase from the Nippon series by Harucki Miyagima (Miyajima) produced in the 1970s by La Linea (Italy).

It is possible to compose the bookcase in various ways, some of these are depicted in the photographs.
The bookcase includes 10 modules in glossy black lacquered ash wood (including 1 with drawers and 2 corners) and 18 chromed metal plates (14 single and 4 double).
Each wooden module is 60 cm high to which 3 cm must be added for the 2 end metal plates (1.5 cm each plate). By overlapping 2 modules you will therefore obtain a height of 123 cm, while with 3 modules it will be 183 cm.

The wooden modules are in very good condition, the metal plates in good condition.
