This Vallecchi volume (2012), in a limited edition of 199 numbered copies, is an artisanal edition dedicated to the most beautiful drawings in the Cabinet of Drawings and Prints of the Uffizi. It collects forty-eight masterpieces by Italian and international masters and presents them in a very high-quality print, executed entirely by hand at the Magnani printing press on paper in Pescia.
The book includes an introduction that traces the history of drawing and printing techniques, from Gutenberg to lithography and offset, celebrating Italian artisanal tradition. It is a fully-fledged art object, with manual binding and a plexiglass box.
