Pair of “Pantonova” armchairs by Verner Panton, 1971, produced by Fritz Hansen. Chromed steel structure with shaped tubular slats.
Iconic design from 1971 by Verner Panton for Fritz Hansen: the “Pantonovas” are among the most sought-after pieces of the Danish house. The body comes from a continuous grid of chromed steel rods, bent into a fluid S-shaped profile that integrates the seat and backrest; the parallel strips fall in and wrap around the corners with graphic elegance. The expressive use of metal in furnishings, a key figure of the 70s also thanks to Panton, is the absolute protagonist here.
Good condition. They may show some signs of aging. Please pay attention to the photographs.
