Description: Rectangular top made using the marble and semi-precious stone technique, consisting of a load-bearing structure in light marble on which carefully shaped and flush-mounted polychrome decorative elements are inserted. The composition is organized according to a symmetrical and axial scheme with a large central oval medallion framed by a decorative band of semi-precious stones in contrasting colours. On the sides of the central medallion there are smaller ovals and circular reserves also in veined marble connected by volutes and cartouches with an ornamental function. The main field is delimited by a modulated perimeter frame decorated with regular point inserts and grotesque motifs including stylized phytoform elements, birds and small animals alternating with vegetal and floral motifs.
