Item description

Ceramic plate by the Mantuan artist Sandro Negri. An artist from Mantua but of international fame, his laboratory was in the historic seventeenth-century palace Cavalvabò in Curtatone (MN). Died in 2012, he boasts international exhibitions in London, America, Russia and France where he also has a personal atelier. All information about the artist can be found by typing his name into Google. The plate for sale is hand painted by the artist with a classic scene of peasant life, signed on the back.
