Metafora 1970s coffee table by Martinelli Luce, designed by Lella and Massimo Vignelli, made up of four independent geometric elements in black marble.
The four geometries (Euclidean, Cube, Cylinder, Sphere and Pyramid) form the base of the Metafora table completed by a large sheet of transparent glass. The four elements are independent and can be positioned freely, without the table losing its identity regardless of the position of the elements that compose it, all of which are however necessary to give it stability.
There is a chip on the lower surface of the slab (photo 9).
