Item description

This stunning Murano glass ceiling light embodies the playful and organic elegance of late 20th century Italian design, probably from the 1970s-1990s. Made of hand-blown Murano glass in a rich amber yellow hue, it features a central circular hub from which eight gracefully curved lobe arms radiate outward in a star or floral formation, evoking a stylized flower or sunburst. Each arm is a smooth, translucent shape of blown glass, gently tapering and curving downwards, terminating in open, cup-shaped diffusers that contain the bulbs. The glass has a warm, honeyed amber tone with subtle variations in depth and translucency, characteristic of authentic Murano craftsmanship. A single central ceiling mounting point is visible, confirming its flush/semi-recessed design, ideal for lower ceilings while providing a dramatic, sculptural presence.
