Item description

This rare vintage designer pop-art chair from the 1980s/1990s is a bold collector’s piece defined by its striking grid of vibrant fluorescent magenta-pink plastic spheres forming the seat and backrest. The spheres create both a sculptural look and comfortable, massage-like support. Set on a sturdy pink tubular metal frame with an additional lower connecting bar for stability, this adult-sized version features clean proportions and exceptional presence. It belongs to a small group of experimental Eastern European pop-art designs from the period, rarely seen in this larger format. An outstanding statement piece for maximalist, eclectic, or contemporary interiors. Unused and stored in a climate-controlled warehouse, these chairs were never exposed to sunlight. As a result, the intense fluorescent pink color remains bright and unfaded, exactly as when they were made — in near-mint, like-new condition. Also suitable for adults, with a weight capacity of up to 80-100 kg.
