Mid-century Italian coffee table in walnut, made with a decorative inlaid top and supported by carved trestle legs. The tabletop features a geometric perimeter inlay and a warm, naturally aged patina, consistent with the piece's mid-20th century origins. Below the top, a discreet drawer adds functionality without compromising the table's clean, architectural silhouette. The base features cut-out motifs and slightly curved profiles, giving the table a distinctive artisanal appearance typical of Italian artisan production of the period. There are light signs of wear and small signs of aging which contribute to its authentic vintage character. This piece comes from one of Riva del Garda's historic hotels, an early 20th century building redesigned by architect Giancarlo Maroni and known for hosting illustrious guests over the decades, adding captivating provenance. Compact, versatile and full of personality, this table works beautifully as a side table, entryway feature or bedside table, giving interiors a warm, understated mid-century Italian feel.
