Item description

Description: Antique French chest of drawers in French Napoleon III style in precious exotic woods with marble top. The front features two large drawers that can be pulled out using finely chiseled gilded bronze handles. The sides have a convex shape and reflect the same geometric pattern as the front. The two corners are embellished with bronze elements with leaf motifs and end with elegant, finely chiseled bronze plinths. The two cabriolet feet are joined by a mixed-line band with a refined central frieze in finely chiseled gilded bronze. General Condition: Restored by our master craftsmen with traditional shellac and handmade alcohol method. Provenance: France, early 20th century. Measurements: 145x55 H92cm.
