We present this spectacular and rare pair of Italian wrought iron headboards dating back to the early 19th century. Their stylistic characteristics place them in the typical production of Northern Italy, in particular of the city of Genoa.
They feature elaborate wrought iron decorations with numerous brass curls, volutes and knobs. The iron is entirely worked by hand, as evidenced by the numerous detailed photos that highlight the craftsmanship (see the hand-hammered nails). The iron is embellished with hand-painted golden ornamental details, which add a unique visual touch. Furthermore, the central medallions feature a delightful hand-painted floral decoration, making each headboard a unique piece. They are in good condition with signs of wear consistent with their age (see all photos). Please note that, for an object of this type, any sign of wear is a feature that adds to its value and distinctiveness.
You might consider using this pair of headboards for two single beds or placing them side by side to form a double bed.
With their historic charm, these two headboards are perfect for any bedroom (classic, modern, antique) where you want a distinctive element.
IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING DIMENSIONS:
