Item description

Six English Victorian chairs dating back to the second half of the 19th century. Made of solid walnut, they feature all the classic stylistic features of the period. The front legs are turned, the back legs are saber-shaped, and the backrest is shaped like a hot air balloon. The upholstery is blue fabric and was probably redone around the 1950s or 1960s. The chairs are in good condition and are generally solid. They have a few small defects consistent with their age and may require minor restoration.
