The Soul of the Work Entirely hand-modelled in my workshop in Agliana, Materia 01 celebrates absolute contrast. The purity of the white clay, deliberately left raw to enhance its porosity and natural imperfections, dialogues with a slender structure in brushed gold. When turned on, the light does not just illuminate, but passes through the ripples of the material, revealing details, shadows and veins that make this piece an ever-changing visual experience.
