Solid rosewood chairs with padded seat. Model "31" designed by Kai Kristiansen in the 1960s.
Set of eight model "31" chairs designed by Kai Kristiansen for Schou Andersen Møbelfabrik in the 1960s, one of the most iconic examples of mid-century Danish design. Developed in the context of export-oriented Danish manufacturing, the model reflects Kristiansen's focus on compact, lightweight and ergonomic seating. The rosewood structure, with soft and balanced lines, stands out for the elegant work on the joints and for the characteristic curved backrest integrated with the armrests. The padded seat, covered in cream-colored fabric, creates a refined contrast with the wood. A balance between functionality, craftsmanship and formal clarity. Cushions just redone and reupholstered, completely removable.
Good condition. They may show slight signs of aging. Please pay attention to the photographs.
