Item description

Important Italian monumental table from the Florentine area, made between the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th century in full neo-Renaissance style. Made of sculpted solid wood, it features an extraordinary architectural structure with monumental feral legs, winged figures, rich carved crosspiece and hand-sculpted central heraldic coat of arms. The imposing dimensions of 275 × 146 cm and the provenance from a Florentine noble residence give the piece an exceptional scenic presence and a rarity that is difficult to find on the current market. The table recalls the celebratory furnishings of Tuscan Renaissance palaces, reinterpreted in the historicist era by high-level workers.
