Antique Portuguese wine pourer from the Art Nouveau era dating back to 1900/1910.
The object is the result of the collaboration of two prestigious Portuguese artisan companies.
The first is the Atlantis factory, a glassware manufacturer famous for the quality of its carved crystals, which has created a splendid copper burin floral decoration in this jug.
The Atlantis brand is etched onto the bottom of the item.
The second factory is Topazio Casquinha, a Portuguese silverware founded by Josè Manuel Ferreira in 1874.
On the back of the silverplate part of the jug, decorated with magnificent floral decorations and fully Art Nouveau shapes, we find the "Topazio Casquinha" brand and that of the crowned T, brands used by the silversmith until 1934, the year in which, following the death of Manuel Ferreira, his sons took over the company and created the "Topazio" brand.
This mark therefore indicates that the object is prior to 1934, and thanks to the quality and style of the decorations we can easily date the jug between 1900 and 1910.
