Vintage AES laboratory stool (1940s-1960s) Elegant vintage industrial stool, with decorated cast iron base and double inclination adjustment pedal. The seat, covered in red velvet with metal studs, gives a refined and authentic touch (remade by a Turin upholsterer). Coming from a technical laboratory or precision workshop, it is a rare piece and perfectly suited to vintage environments, industrial lofts or creative studios. Solid structure, functioning mechanism, signs of wear consistent with age. By simultaneously pressing the two mechanisms at the base it is possible to tilt the seat. Adjustable seat height of 20 cm. from a minimum of 60 cm (all closed). Period: 1940‑1960 Materials: cast iron, steel, velvet Condition: good, with original patina Manufacturer: AES (Europe)
