The Hang It All designed by Charles Eames and Ray Eames was born from a very simple idea: to transform an everyday object like a coat rack into something more fun, lighter and more pleasant to use every day. And it is probably precisely this simplicity that makes it so recognizable today.
The steel structure creates an essential grid on which the characteristic colored spheres develop, an element that immediately defines the project. In this Yellow Edition version, the color combination makes the whole even brighter and more playful, while maintaining that formal cleanliness that allows the object to easily fit into even very essential environments.
Despite being a coat rack, it often functions as something more: in an entrance hall it becomes a welcoming element, in a room it adds color without taking up space, while in a studio or bedroom it can easily transform into a small graphic element on the wall.
It's one of those projects that manages to do a very rare thing: stay practical without becoming anonymous.
