Pair of Cobra model chairs, design by Giotto Stoppino, produced in Italy in the 1970s. One of the most iconic pieces of Italian modern art, today highly sought after by collectors and design enthusiasts.
The structure is in chromed tubular steel curved in a single sinuous piece - hence the name Cobra - with an oval base on the ground, a padded circular seat and a roller backrest.
The two chairs form a mirrored pair (right and left), as envisaged by the original project, ideal for combining around a round or rectangular table.
Condition: good overall. One chair has some signs of wear on the leather of the backrest. The chrome is in excellent condition on both.
