This pair of balustrades presents itself as a refined architectural and furnishing element in solid walnut wood, characterized by a warm and intense dark shade and a deep period patina.
The structure of each element is strictly geometric and symmetrical, defined by a solid molded base and a large flat upper handrail with shaped edges, also ideal as a support surface. The central body is composed of a row of turned balusters, which alternate quadrangular sections with spherical and vase-shaped elements typical of the classical and Renaissance style. At the two ends, the sequence is enclosed and consolidated by robust lateral pillars (key-head) decorated with geometric mirror panels in relief.
The excellent overall state of conservation highlights the natural grain of the walnut, while the small and light signs of aging distributed on the surfaces accentuate its authentic charm and historical value. Due to their proportions, they are perfectly suited both as valuable dividing elements in an interior and reconverted into original designer consoles or back sofas. Can also be used freely externally as garden decorations.
