Vintage executive office chair model KS 172 H, designed by the famous Swedish designer Karl-Erik Ekselius for the manufacturer JOC Möbel AB (Vetlanda, Sweden) during the 1970s. Padded and equipped with decorative buttons (tufted quilting) on the back and seat. Contrasting materials, a mix between a soft, padded body in organic fabric and the industrial, shiny structure in die-cast aluminum and chromed steel perfectly defines this trend. Capitonné (Tufted) workmanship with decorative buttons on the backrest and seat that give volume and that typical vintage charm, inspired by the great classics of corporate design of the period (such as the famous Time Life Lobby Chair by Charles and Ray Eames or the models of the P128 series by Osvaldo Borsani for Tecno). The armrests feature a continuous geometric curvature in brushed aluminum with superior padding. The base features a swivel mechanism with a 5-spoke structure on wheels.
