Item description

CUBOLUCE table lamp, produced by CINI & NILS, designed by FRANCO BETTONICA and MARIO MELOCCHI, 1972, acquired in the Permanent Collection of the Museum of MODERN ART in NEW YORK. Just lift the lid to have the light on, and lower it to turn it off, without being bothered by looking for a switch. The light beam can be easily directed by just varying the inclination of the lid. The external surfaces never burn, thanks to the double walls with heat insulation and the 331 ventilation holes on the base. Very limited size, 10 X 10 X 11, and excellent stability. 40W / E14 bulb. New, an additional CUBOLUCE is also available if desired.
