Item description

Louis Philippe double bed made of mahogany, characterized by a finely perforated headboard with leaf carvings, volutes and curls that highlight the craftsmanship of the time. The central panel of the headboard is padded and covered in an elegant decorative fabric, which is also found in the footboard. The latter is enriched by two distinctive lateral plumes. Produced in Italy in the second quarter of the 19th century, the bed expresses the refined taste of the Louis Philippe period.
