Item description

A pair of antique lorgnette spectacles with scissor-like handles, likely used as a portable magnifying or reading aid. The frame appears to be ornately decorated, possibly with an avian motif, and the lenses are oval-shaped. Such items were popular in the 18th and 19th centuries for both practical and decorative purposes.
