Coach like display case inlaid maple on rosewood with noble coat of arms, rich bronze, original 19th century
Extremely rare display cabinet in the shape of a carriage veneered in rosewood rich in bronzes, threaded and inlaid in maple. Although it is finished in the center, with floral inlays on both sides, on the facade it opens through a door with a knob that also acts as a latch and when removed it does not allow opening. On the upper door there is, inlaid, a noble coat of arms with a 7-pointed crown and a lily in the center. Easily born as a silver holder, it can be used to display collections with its 2 shelves. The state of conservation is very good, no Bronze is missing and, if desired, needs polishing and the replacement of the 2 shelves. Signs of time can be seen on the “roof” of the carriage, as can be seen from the photos. Being an unusual and never seen object, it is difficult to say exactly whether the manufacture is French or Italian (Florentine, Sicilian, ...). The 4 wheels (2 large and 2 small) are obviously fixed.
