Item description

A splendid vintage Italian-made centerpiece/fruit bowl (post-1968), in excellent condition. The item comprises: A solid oval mirrored base in solid 800 silver (official state hallmarks with a diamond visible under the base). Four finely crafted support feet shaped like heraldic/grotesque dolphins. Edges chiseled with a laurel leaf garland motif. A removable cup in heavy cut crystal with a spiral (tortiglione) design and a star-shaped base. Dimensions: Maximum cup length: 18 cm. Total height: 14 cm. Perfect as a classic decorative element, centerpiece, or dessert and fruit stand. No chips on the crystal, polished silver and free of dents.
