Splendid wall lamp (applique) of pure Italian postmodern design, produced between the late '70s and early '80s by G2 Vetri, a historic high-end Murano brand, later merged into the prestigious Vistosi group. The object looks like a true fan-shaped luminous sculpture, characterized by a refined combination of colors and materials. The large front diffuser is made of fine white layered glass with an opalescent effect, designed to diffuse a warm, atmospheric light. On the back, a second sculptural element in cobalt blue blown artistic glass stands out, which creates a magnificent visual contrast and transparencies on the lower profiles of the lamp. The supporting structure is in black painted metal. This piece represents an exceptional opportunity for collectors thanks to its totally intact period philological equipment: Original adhesive label on the front: "Glass made by masters of Murano - Made in Italy" Original factory adhesive logo: "G2 Made in Italy" Rare original cardboard sales slip/tag from the period bearing the production code (50.1060/A), the color specification (BI / AZZ / BLACK) and the historical sales price in Italian Lire (144,000 Lire).
